Hello, my name is Alana. I am 19 years old (will be 20 in December) and have a reliable car for short or long travels. My first real job, I was hired as a gymnastics coach to teach 2-5 year olds, the babies. I taught and made gymnastics fun and easy to learn by creating an environment that opened the children's imagination. I have taught autustic children and even attempted to learn sign language to ensure she was getting the most of my class. I am always willing to accomate my skills to the child's needs. I also have a godson that has cerebral palsy and helped take care of him from when he was born at 2.5 pounds until now. Along with that job I have been babysitting now for over 4 years. I have had very few "one time only" babysitting jobs. I babysit/ nanny/ clean/ and I Read more have even been the "errand runner" for many families. I have always made learning a big focus when I babysit, whatever the child is learning in school I will probably give extra practice in a fun way. Right now I have been babysitting a 2 year old since she was a little over 1 years old and she now can say her whole alphabet, numbers, and colors. Therefore unless stated otherwise I stray away from being glued to the tv and I am always engaging with the kids.
