Hello, my name is Amanda Ramirez and I am a current senior in the speech pathology peogram at UWG. I chose speech pathology because I love helping others and I have a passion for it. My goal is to work as an SLP in a children’s hospital. I have worked in a daycare all throughout high school and even some of college when I went home during the summer. I was hired as a “floater/receptionist,” however, I ended up working summer camp and then in the baby/toddler room with infants from 3months to 1 year. I also worked in the 2-3 year old rooms as well. I really enjoyed working working with the children and doing our everyday educational activities like arts and crafts, reading, and writing.
