I am a college graduate with a B.A. in Dance and am working towards my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I'm from Las Vegas which is where I held a dance instructor position for a little over a year while in high school. While teaching there, I was fortunate enough to work with children from ages 4-12 years old. I taught ballet, hip hop, jazz and cheerleading. I am a very active, fun and energetic person and I love kids with imagination. It is amazing how a child' s mind works and it' s a privilege to work with them. I was also was a day camp counselor for a full summer where I worked with children from ages 5-8 years old. I was able to watch over them during any activity such as arts and crafts, dance, basketball and just about everything else. I was expected to fix Read more boo boos, tend to any need they had, be a fun mentor and everything in between. I was recently a dance instructor and taught ages 1.5- 7. It's quite an amazing experience to teach these wonderful children dance and creative movement. It keeps their minds sharp while having fun! My job as a babysitter would definitely be all of that and more. I will surely take this seriously because at the end of the day, kids are kids and each one should be treated with the respect and care that they deserve. With my mom being a teacher as well as an active PTA mom when I was younger, I understand what it means to care for children and make sure they have the proper nurturing and influence needed to enhance their growth and development. Although caring for children is a serious matter, we can surely make it fun. Games that help with development, books that assist with learning new words, matching games, making words with alphabet soup and, of course, help with homework. I am available all day Monday and Wednesday, and mornings Tuesday and Thursday and Friday afternoon. I'm also free in the evenings and weekends.
