A cousin of mine and his wife have two small children, a boy who is 6 and a girl who is 4. In the past several years, I have babysat the two at the same time -sometimes overnight- and been in charge of feeding, playing and learning with them. We have gotten along since the kids were little tikes and it is that experience that led me to look for further work as a babysitter. Through another babysitting website, I was hired for a position back in September of 2012 by a mother of two 4 year old boys. Over the course of 4 days, while their parents went to some classes, I made my way to their rented cabin early each morning and stayed for an average of 8 hours. A few times, I helped the two bathe and get ready for bed before their parents got home. This experience and the continued ones with my cousins' children have showed me how important it is to be the right person for the job -not only because of qualifications but also because of their children's enjoyment!
