Hi, my name is Colleen and I am 25. I was a nanny for three years, for a couple with an 11-year-old boy with spina bifida, and his 6-year-old sister. This lasted until the boy moved up to live with his father in another state. I'm currently a nanny for a 5 year old boy, as well as having family's which I do date nights for along with overnight stays. I have a 21-year-old brother with apraxia, and I've volunteered at a respite we had at my church, until those who attended, moved away/found one closer to them. We had a few families driving more than an hour and a half, to come to our facility. I've helped with 2-3-year-old Sunday school for about 10 years now, started doing it because a boy with cerebral palsy wanted to go to Sunday school, so I was his one-on-one person. I'm currently Read more a nanny for a 7 year old boy during the school year, as well as an ABA Therapist working with an 16 year old boy with Autism. My dream is to specialize in special needs and fine art photography.
