As a childcare provider, I take pride in nurturing and guiding students to develop a love for learning that enhances their ability to become contributing citizens in their community. My patient, yet firm, and consistent demeanor has allowed me to be successful in reaching children with different needs. Through well- planned lessons, enthusiasm, and a fair, but equal behavior plan, my classroom management skills have made a difference. In my experience, I find teamwork to be an essential element to achieving many goals, so I look forward to being a part of a team with these same passions for teaching. My dedication and caring for others has also directed my purpose at my previous places of employment where I was actively involved in the basketball and cheerleading program, collaborated with fellow teachers and staff members on activities, as well as acted as a facilitator in many areas of need. I Read more will continue to look forward to becoming involved in community initiatives as I look to my future as an educator. I have a wealth of experience working with students in an urban setting. I have worked in two after school programs to help students with homework, and in additional areas of need.
