Hi! My name is Joanna Caldwell. I live in Atlanta and attend Agnes Scott College. I have lived in Atlanta all my life (21 years), and I have been babysitting for much of it! I began babysitting when I was 12 years-old, and ever since then I thought it was the best job in the world because it was fun! I began working with children with autism my freshman year of high school, which was when I learned how to engage with children who weren't interested in engaging with me. I have learned how to coax a shy kid out of their shell and how to calm a energetic kid down enough to do an art project. I currently work with a 10 year-old girl, who I have been with since I started over six years ago. I have also been an assistant counselor at Paideia Summer Camp, where I Read more engaged with and supervised 3-5 year olds. I have 3 awesome nephews all under the age of 5, whom I have babysat innumerable times. My extensive experience working with children has only made me more interested in continuing!
