I love working with children, and my favorite activities include putting on puppet shows, song and dance parties, making "cloud dough" and other child-friendly 'cooking', using picture books to inspire fun activities, and arts and crafts! I have worked with children for the past ten years. I taught Georgia Pre-K for 5 years, first grade for one year, and kindergarten last year. I've completed my master's degree in Early Childhood Education, and I'm looking for some extra income to offset student loan costs! Before I started teaching, I was a nanny for infants , toddlers. and young children. I have a great deal of energy and enthusiasm in addition to a cheerful and imaginative spirit, which enables me to provide an active, fun environment for children of all ages. I would love to bring in the skills I've learned as a teacher to provide care for your child!!

Kristy was a part-time nanny for our 16-month old daughter during the summer. She was wonderful! She brought a lot of engaging toys for her to play with and was constantly looking for new activities to keep her occupied. She was always on time and was really communicative. We wished she could have worked for us longer!

Kristy is very responsible and great with the children. She picked up our children from school and would take them places or play with them every day. She was great at following our instructions and helping around the house as well. She is very creative with activities and loves to teach and play. She is a good disciplinarian as well.
