I have been babysitting for friends, family, and neighbors regularly for nearly ten years, and have experience with children from three weeks of age all the way through thirteen. I am not the babysitter to coral the children into a room or sit them in front of a television all evening. I always come prepared with games and crafts, and love going on mini 'field trips' in the yard or to the park or something of the like (with mom and dad's okay of course)! I am married and have been blessed with one daughter of my own. I am happy to bring her with me, but if you'd prefer, she'd be happy to have a "Daddy Day" or visit with her aunt.
