Hello parents! "Children learn by playing"! My name is Karla, 52 years old, I am from Cuba so I am fluent in Spanish. Always I have loved the children, and I spent years reading and studying how the brain of a kid works, how they feel, why they have good days and bad days. In my opinion you need two things to be a great nanny: unconditional love for children and lot of knowledge about the human being since birth, so in this way you can understand them, help them to be great persons and give them what is most important for a healthy development-love and protection. I have 10 years experience in education of children. I am a professional nanny, not just the one who watch tv or talk by phone. My daily routine includes: art, reading, dance, playing games that stimulate the brain of the kid, sign language, Read more etc. I believe in the importance of personalized attention and practice positive discipline. I am a mother of two girls, 18 and 22 years old which are excellent students! I like reading, dancing and swimming. In addition I am a behavioral therapist so I can work with children with special needs. I lived in Atlanta, Georgia for 10 years, and I moved to Miami a few months ago, there I worked as a volunteer every Tuesday in Marist School teaching language arts in Spanish, and I have a letter that supports my work in this School . I have excellent references working as a nanny, and a good level of education. I have CPR, a Associate in Child Development, and bachelor's degree. I am currently doing a master in autism. I truly believe that the first years of a kid are the most important for a great development later in life! I'm looking for full job and also sharing families are a good option for me!
