I am currently an education major in my final year at Georgia Southern University. I have been babysitting children since 16 years of age. My passions are inspiring others and educating younger audiences on the power of literature and reading. I have also done outside volunteer work at my local college community senior homes, daycare centers, and animal shelters. I feel that working with children and teaching them the lessons I have learned throughout my life is inspiring and important to building a powerful, intellectual generation of adolescents. Family is one of the most important values to me and I believe that as a caregiver, you have to establish a bond and give that child a family-like feel in order build trust and an overall relationship. I have had CPR training, and I am a transitioning vegan; so I have worked with many children who have food allergies and/or asthma.
