Im a fun loving open minded person who is VERY accepting. I can adapt to change and follow directions well, even if its in a constructive criticism aspect. I love children, my view of them is simple. Children are people just like you and I, without the experience and skills we've obtained from being here as long as we have. Because of that belief i treat children as equals. as the adult i will exercise my authority when need be, but never let it consume me or abuse it. I have a big family with a ton of younger cousins, needless to say i've been preparing bottles and kissing "boo-boos" earlier than most. Majority of my experience is from having to step up and become the other parent after my mother gave birth to twin boys 6 months after her divorce. we couldn't afford child care. while she worked i Read more kept the twins until they were old enough go to school. Being their caregiver made me want to continue getting to know and looking after infants/younger children. I don't have any formal babysitter training but, I am CPR/AED certified (former lifeguard 4yrs). I was also briefly employed with Primrose Early Learning center East lake location. I am open to helping families with children of ALL ages. :)
