I started babysitting children when I was 13 years old. I started off with my younger cousins, then moved on to my mothers friends children. I also babysat my older sisters friends children. I would babysit on the weekends Friday through Sunday. Sometimes they wouldn't come and get there children when they were supposed to do it led to multiple days at a time and in that time i learned to bond with the child or children so that they would be comfortable around and you and would want to be with you. I would cook and clean up after them help them with homework make sure they had there baths dinner breakfast or lunch let them unwind and relax by watching a little cartoons reading them a book or even sitting on my lap rocking in the rocking chair watching cartoons until they were asleep then I would tuck Read more them in. After I would clean and prepare for the next or for their parents to pick them up. I've also worked part time overseas with children at a daycare. I worked with foreign children from all over the world, even though some of them didn't speak very good English I was able to figure out what they needed and wanted so when they left they were not unhappy.
