I am a junior who attends Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. I recently turned 20 years old and I am double majoring at KSU with degrees in both Sociology (concentration in Medical Sociology) and Psychology. In my free time I run my own small business selling my artwork. I would love to work with creative children who love art, playing outside, and playing board games. I am also the Co-President of the OWLS ASL Club (American Sign Language) at KSU and would love to teach kids a few basic signs if they are interested. Right now I am working at the Alumni House at Kennesaw State University from 12PM-4PM Monday-Thursday until 6/30/14. After that I am free for the rest of the summer and have no other obligations except making a chiropractor appointment (which can be flexible days each week). I have babysat in the past for a family Read more with two children over a period of about one year. One child was a special needs child with ADHD. Although I have limited experience in paid babysitting work, I have 3 siblings that I have had extensive experience in caring for for the last 8 years. I have lived with them over the summer and holidays and been in charge of preparing food, going outside for activities like playing in the park, and supervising the children to ensure their safely and happiness. My siblings are all two years apart (currently 8, 10, and 12), however I have experience caring for them at younger ages. I really enjoy being with children and know that my experience with my brothers and sisters (two brothers, one sister) will help me in caring for any children I meet in the future. My American Red Cross CPR training just expired in April. I am planning to renew it soon, and will definitely get re-certified as soon as I am hired for a sitting position. My hobbies/favorite activities include: drawing, painting, various other arts and crafts, swimming, and reading.
