I am highly motivated, compassionate and hard working mother and babysitter with over 35 years of experience with children, pets and the elderly. I have worked in different caregiving situations with single to multiple children....from shy to highly energetic and some with special needs. I have been a part of children's ministry with every church that I have attended and on mission trips. Along with my ability to handle stress, multitask and stay flexible...I love to laugh, stay positive and wear a smile always! I love the work that I do because every child is unique! I love knowing that I make a difference and have helped many families run smoothly and effectively during daily activities and even difficult times. I have always provided high quality childcare in a safe, nurturing environment in which children thrive, develop and grow. I undertake most all tasks related to each child's daily care. I have safely transported children to & from activities - preparation & clean up of all meals and snacks - maintained children's areas & light house keeping - followed all bathing & clothing instructions - planned special outings & age appropriate creative activities promoting physical health, social development & educational learning fun - cared for sick children - cared for all pets in the home - helped school age children with homework. I successfully raised and Home Schooled my sons. I graduated with a 4.0 and in The National Honors Society. I took two years of counseling classes at a Bible college. I have taken early childhood development classes and am certified in CPR & First Aid. I have many References/Referrals upon request. I am easy to talk to and provide good and open communication to keep the parents in the loop on daily activities. We all love those magical nannies in the movies! I do not have the voice of Maria in The Sound of Music...but will sing silly songs with your children. I do not have in my possession the magical travel bag or umbrella of Mary Poppins or the magical walking stick of Nanny McPhee...but I do bring my own creative fun to the table and indeed at times it is magical! My objective is to become your children's favorite Babysitter while making a difference in ALL of your lives!
