I am a graduate of LaSalle University where I majored in Elementary and Special Education. Through my teaching practicums, volunteering, and student teaching, I was involved with numerous age groups from preschool to high school. Currently I am a stay-at-home mom but was previously employed by the School District of Philadelphia as a Learning Support Teacher for the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. I feel very comfortable sitting and tutoring children of all ages. I would be happy to work with the children on their reading and math skills while sitting. My philosophy of teaching is a combination of a humanistic and behavioral approach to learning - which I also apply to my sitting philosophy. I am very outgoing, energetic, and responsible.
