My name is Vanessa, I am a junior in college. I have a lot of experience with babysitting. When I was 11 I started babysitting my brothers, nephew, and cousins, from then is when I learned that I love to take care of children. I like to have fun interact with the children, I love to teach alphabet, numbers, colors, and shapes. I taught my nephew his alphabet and numbers and its such a good feeling knowing you can be such a big influence in children's lives even by something so small like teaching the alphabet. My mother started her own in-home daycare when I was 13, everyday after school I would be her assistant teacher and help her with the children. I handled story time, nap time, play time, lunch time, and recess. In high school I took 4 years of early childhood education. I learned a lot in Read more that class and I had the privilege of interning at a real daycare for two years I worked with infants and toddlers. Then towards my last year I worked with two year olds. That was a great experience for me. I learned different ways that children interact and how to handle different situations that happen in a real daycare where we have to teach the children by state curriculum. I also took 2 years of healthcare science so I did get my certification in CPR, and I am also bilingual I speak Spanish and English. I love taking care of children, I am trust worthy, patient, responsible, positive attitude and a very hard worker.
