Hi My name is Sydnie ! Im a transfer student from Hofstra University in NYC, going to Georgia State to be closer to family, I’m currently majoring in pre-med. My passion for being around children began when I enrolled to be a counselor in training working for the city of Round Rock, Tx. Upon getting certified, I transitioned into my permanent position as a counselor. As a counselor, I was responsible for creating and implementing daily agendas for up to 20 children . I worked as a mentor, leader and personal guide for over 150 children throughout the summer. I took part in special camp projects, field trips, college visits, and community service activities. Bonding with and mentoring children led me to utilize my skills to acquire fruitful positions as a nanny/ babysitter at the end of summer, with a few families of young boys and girls. I would also Read more like to add, that I am experienced in cooking, and am fond of arts and music. I feel that I would be a reliable and dedicated asset to any family that wants to take comfort in knowing that you have put your children in good hands.
