I am a stay at home parent/childcare provider. I have two boys, ages 2 and 1/2 and 1. I live off Bradley and grinnel. I have been caring for children my whole life, and worked with toddlers before becoming a stay at home pwarent. I have an AA from Peak Community college, with courses in ECE guidance strategies and nutrition. I also have child and developmental psychology courses that I've taken. I helped raise my 5-year-old nephew, and provided his full-time care until just recently. My house is very child friendly, and I have a backyard with lots of outdoor toys. We play outside a few hours daily (weather permitting), and have indoor gross motor activities for inclement weather. We also love to read, so we have a lot of books and read often. My two year old is fully potty trained, talks in full sentences, knows basic sign, can Read more read letters and numbers, knows his alphabet and the letter sounds, colors, shapes, how his name is spelled...etc. My youngest knows about 20 words, and is using two-word phrases already, so I'm very hands on and we love to learn! We do music and crafts daily, as well as school time if the child shows readiness. I will be investing in a preschool program for the kids to do every day as well. We also go to story and play time at the library weekly. I'm comfortable with both cloth and disposable diapers and can help with potty training. I am available m-f.
