I am a graduate student studying in the field of social work. I work at Peachford Behavioral Hospital. I work on a unit with patients who suffer from different mental disorders. Bipolar D/O, schizophrenia, psychosis, Major Mood D/O, Depression, Manic D/O, ADD, and ADHD are a few of the different disorders I have worked with. Being at the hospital allows me to work with adults and children. I have been in this field for over two years and absolutely LOVE what I do. I have been responsible for supervising, nurturing, and caring for children of all ages outside of the hospital setting. I can perform good hand-washing techniques for small children, bathe, dress, and feed children, wash clothes and clean rooms. Preparing bottles and changing diapers are NO problem! I love children and hope to work with children in the social work setting one day. I'm the oldest of four Read more children. Being the oldest of 4 made sure that "mothering bone" was already in me :) I am loving, caring, and ready to find a GREAT family to share my love with! Please feel free to contact me for a meet and greet! I work full-time, but if the family fits I would be willing to make arrangements for them.
