Hello! My name is Sarah and I’m looking forward to working with you and your family! I’ve recently moved back to Massachusetts after spending some time in Georgia. I love arts and crafts, taking a walk in the woods, or a trip to a museum. I enjoy spending time cooking in the kitchen and have yet to meet an animal I didn’t love! I have extensive experience (17+ years) as a caregiver, both in casual and professional settings. As a teen, I babysat for children ages 6mos-12yo on a regular basis. I also taught summer youth tennis camps at the local community center. Throughout my adult career (15 years) with a local nonprofit agency, I’ve supported adults with developmental and psychiatric disabilities in a variety of environments and roles. This includes direct care and supervisory positions in vocational settings and residential placements (both group and private). While in Georgia, I Read more was nannying part-time in the metro Atlanta area, with both neuro-typical and neuro-divergent (Autistic) children. Although the environment has evolved through the years, one thing that has remained consistent across all settings is the enjoyment I feel from nurturing and caring for others, regardless of their age and abilities.
