My name is Maleek Montgomery, a master’s student at Kennesaw State University in Chemical Science. I originally obtained my bachelors from Savannah State University in chemistry on May 2016. As a student at Savannah State University, I am in-tune with my studies and my university. This allowed me to be on the Dean’s List and also participate in extracurricular activities. I was participating in the organizations Achievers of Today and Tomorrow Inc., American Chemical Society, and National Hispanic Scholarship Fund. Along with participating in organizations, I tutored children from middle school and beyond with school work. I volunteered with many elementary schools reading stores and creating science experiments in order to influence the interest in STEM. I have two younger sisters who I have babysat throughout my lifetime. I understand safety regulations and precautions in order to provide a safe environment.
