My most recent experience includes working at summer camps for the past 3 summers. My most recent camp, Falling Creek Camp is an all boys outdoor adventure camp. I worked with campers aged 7-16. I lifeguarded, lead multi-day backpacking trips, day hikes, taught nature classes, lead fitness classes for the campers. Prior to working at Falling Creek Camp, I worked at Adirondack Camp which is a co-ed camp which focuses on a lot of water-based activities. I lifeguarded, taught junior lifeguarding classes, taught swimming courses, and lead cross country as a free time activity. I was a cabin counselor for the youngest girls' cabin with girls aged 6-7. Prior to my college years working at summer camps, I was involved with the German Honors Society where I taught German classes to ASP at my local elementary school. Throughout high school, I babysat for both of my neighbors who had children Read more aged 5-9. I have certifications in Wilderness First Responder, CPR/AED, and First Aid. I was a lifeguard for 5 years and a Lifeguard Instructor for 2 years. I really enjoy being active and doing things like running, hiking, mountain biking, and swimming. I love being outside. I love animals. I enjoy eating healthy and living a healthy lifestyle.
