I was a stay at home mom for 13 years. Now my youngest daughter is entering high school and mom wants to get back to work. My last job was at the Florida Keys Children's Shelter. I worked with abused and neglected children. I started out as a secretary and 3 years later established myself as the manager of the 2 group homes in Key West. The children's ages ranged from 0-17 years of age. My duties included, but were not limited to, Clerical work and Parenting (taking kids to appointments, feeding, bathing, grocery shopping, hiring, typing, etc....) My duties were around the clock, as most parents are, but I had my kids and then the Shelter's kids. So, I very much love working with kids and am very patient and caring. I am also very cautious.
