Hello! My name is Catherine. I am currently seeking a flexible part time caregiver, babysitter or nanny job. I am CPR/first aid trained & experienced. I do not fit the mold of your average caregiver. I truly consider it an honor when a parent trusts me with their child so I do not take this responsibility lightly. My experience ranges from premature newborns to college kids I specialize in behavior modification and support age appropriate independance. My passion lies in helping underprivileged and special needs kids. I have a knack for identifying a child's unique learning style and crafting individualized teaching methods tailored to their needs. My experience in working with special needs kids, mainly nonverbal severely autistic kids , is extensive. While I'm not "certified", I've spent countless hours acting as an occupational therapist, speech therapist and letterboard coach for multiple kids. I've worked with many children who have Read more disabilities, and I consider myself a hardcore dedicated advocate for the underdogs. I've also been fortunate to work with kids who have suffered various forms of abuse, serving as a mentor to guide them toward a brighter future. My educational background in child psychology has emphasized the importance of being an educated and positive role model for children but at the same time creating a safe, fun, active and adventerous atmosphere to let "kids be kids". In addition, I used to volunteer with special Olympics & spent years teaching therapeutic horseback riding lessons on my one-eyed horse,Navia. She recently unexpectedly passed away leaving me with ineffable heartache but with more availabilty to help new families. Beyond my work with children, I'm a holistic veterinary practitioner and certified canine nutritionist. I maintain a small practice with a loyal client base and a very flexible schedule. I spent 13 years flying with a commercial airline as a flight attendant and during my time off I coached private gymnastics lessons and occasionally worked as a Gwinnett County substitute teacher and nanny for multiple families. I'm passionate about teaching the importance of kindness towards others and acceptance of all walks of life! I would love the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to your family's well-being. I cook, clean, laundry, wash cars, run errands, mow lawns ect. And i Will happily take care of Fur babies. My schedule changes monthly so I'm only able to commit to hrs a month at a time on the 27th.
