My name is Essence Diamond Sanders, I recently graduated with the class of 2016. I have a total of two younger brothers age five and seven who I look after very often. Also a three year old niece who I love dearly. Currently I am two months pregnant and looking for work to provide for my little one. Kids bring me so much joy, from their expanding imaginations to their love for learning new things. I believe that every child is indeed a blessing from God and should all be loved and cherrished. I usually start my interactions with new children as introducing myself then giving children the chance to introduce themselves where I can learn more about their personalities and things they enjoy such as, their favorite color, tv show, choice of play, etc. This helps me deal with each child better. I also like to give children a Read more voice and let them make choices for themselves instead of giving demands based strictly on how I feel things should be ran. Every child is a future leader and it is important we don't deprive them of this. I am very outgoing and love to sing so it wouldn't be a surprise if I came prepared with my own age appropriate children's songs to interact with them. Introducing myself may involve me creating a short 1-2 min song describing me and the things I like, therefore opening up a window for the child to express who they are comfortably. I have not had any professional babysitting experience besides family friends or family,but I have completed a 3 year course pathway in early childhood in high school and eventually look forward to follow the footsteps of my mother and get my degree in early childhood development. Because of this lack of schooling, I may not qualify for this position, but I am perfect for the job. Every child deserves outstanding care especially when their lives are trusted with individuals who are concerned greatly about their well being and health and willing to go above and beyond to make sure those children are kept the way they are handed to them.
