I started off working with 3 and 4 year olds at Headstart program in Newark, NJ. Started off as a aide in the classroom and then worked as a health assistant to the Headstart nurse between October 2007 and February 2009. In February 2009, I got hired as a Family service worker in a preschool funded by the Abbott program in Irvington, NJ assisting families to enroll their 3 and 4 year olds into preschool, give out referrals within the community to give support on the type of situation they had such as not having enough food, referrals to food pantries, shelter needs, clothing drives, etc.... I also worked in a therapeutic group home specialized for children with behavior issues such as ADHD, autism, bipolar disorder, depressed children, and developmentally disabled. I worked their between July 2011 - August 2013. Right now I'm awaiting to retake lpn board exam again, Read more I graduated from school of practical nursing at New Community Workforce in Newark, NJ in June 2014 and I also attended a family development credential class at Rutgers Newark school of social work in Newark, NJ.
