Hello, My name is Kristin. I am a medical student who is taking a year off to spend time with my husband, focus on our family as well as complete research and my masters in healthcare administration. None of those pay so I decided to turn to SitterCity, for a way to not only make money, but because I love children. My aspirations are to become a pediatric neurologist, and I have countless hours working with children with special needs. I have received my basic life support certificate as a requirement of my medical school. This certificate includes CPR training as well as other medical interventions. I have also completed a pediatric rotation. I was a baby sitter through Care during my undergraduate years for a family with three children, A position I maintained during my junior and senior years, until I left for medical school. I was also a Read more nanny for a single father's 8 year old for 2 years. I have experience coaching special olympics, and as a science camp counselor. Besides all of the education and past experience, I am a very calm natured, fun individual. I love playing with children and seeing how play can turn into educational development. I plan on being engaged with your children in any way possible my hours at your home. I am only serious when it comes to medical education, but otherwise Im a big kid!
