Hi there! My name is Naomi. I'm an after-school care teacher looking to make some extra money sitting. Along with morning the teaching job, I am also a part-time paralegal in the afternoons, and calligrapher whenever there is business; due to my busy M-F hours, I am only available on the weekends. I have experience as a youth group leader in my teens and early college years, during which time I worked with elementary-aged students. At work, I currently teach the 2nd and 3rd graders, but I have also worked with ages 3 - 11. I really enjoy working with kids. They bring fun and creative perspectives to life, and often times I can't help but be amused at how they see the world. I also know that I am the responsible adult in charge, so I know how to be stern when needed. In addition, I try to model good behavior. For example, if two siblings are fighting over a toy, I try to model how to share, or how to use words to express feelings rather than hitting, etc. Anyways, I'm hoping to make some extra money as I mentioned so I thought why not try to do so with something I enjoy?
