I am a quiet, attentive and creative person, who loves children, animals, walks in nature, cooking, drawing, painting, sewing, reading and writing, just to name a few things which express my love of life. Being the oldest of 5 children, I grew up with helping take care of my sisters and brother, as well as babysitting jobs when I was a teenager. My college education earned me a degree in studio art as well an an elementary education teaching certificate. Although I ended up not pursuing teaching, I greatly enjoy being with children. We have an instant rapport and delight in sharing and being together, even without words. My working life included a series of art stores and non-profit organizations where I worked in sales, member relations, purchasing and accounting positions. Being more or less retired now, my husband and I live a healing focused and meditative life in the peace of Honaunau HI. We have a cat and I've been making quilts.
