I have Early Childhood Credits. In the state of California, I have my counseling license. From UCLA. Most important, I know CPR, and I've raised 3 children of my own. Now whom are living full creative lives. I'm very proud of the human beings they are. It's difficult to raise children in Los Angeles, and have them remain grounded--in life's real issues. I don't believe in hitting children, nor by holding a baby you'll spoil the child. Such nonsense. Harmful as well. I started looking after children last year. My best friends daughter had a baby. I was living in Santa Monica at the time. Ella, asked me if I could help out her sleep deprived daughter, and son in law. [ Ryan looked like he was 40 years Old, No Sleep! ] Beautiful twins, fraternal. I basically came in as a Doula. Ella's & Ryan, caring for them as Read more well as the newborns, I will treasure those memories for ever. Now I'm living on Maui. A permanent move. Now that I'm settled, I'm looking for a childcare position, or positions. I am fun. I have humor. I have patience to allow a child to learn a new developmental skill. I will not rush any child. A natural rhythm occurs on it's own. This comes from trust. The more the infant, toddler, grammar school aged children: trust their caregiver, a child will thrive from love and knowing that they won't be left to cry in a wet diaper. I'm thrilled to be able to do what I'm great at, ( Children ). I look forward to meeting with you and your family. Of course upon request, you may speak with my prior employer. Confidentiality is necessary. An I've no issue signing, a confidentiality agreement-- for any family I choose to work for.
