My name is Alexis Lamkin and I am graduating from the University of Hawaii at Manoa this May with a degree in both Finance and International Business. I plan to continue living in Hawaii for the next couple years and am hoping to get into graduate school for education so I can become a teacher. I am the oldest in my family so I have a lot of experience with kids, toddlers, and babies. I've also had two permanent baby sitting positions. The first was in high school where I started nannying a 5 year old girl and watched her for two years, until I graduated. The second was last year when I studied abroad in Spain. I would watch 3 siblings between the ages of 5 and 9 everyday after school and helped them with their homework, played games, and helped improve their English. Aside from permanent positions, I've Read more had many small babysitting gigs as well. I really enjoy being around kids and get along great with them, which is also why I want to pursue a career as a teacher.
