I have been working as a nanny/babysitter on and off for most of my life. Starting at 16, watching my neighbors kids and up through my master's degree, I have always found it to be a joy to be with children. I am firm, but not mean, I am honest and timely, I enjoy learning and teaching and have often been told that I would make a great teacher. All of the families I have previously worked with would give me high recommendations, along with their kids. While I was living in Hawaii, I was working as a teaching assistant in the glassblowing department at the Punahou School, which means I have passed their rigorous background check. I am currently a snowboard coach in the winter at Mammoth Mountain, a coach a the trampoline club in Mammoth and I volunteer for the town in the summer at the skateboarding camp, Read more which requires a background check as well. I have a children's certification through the mountain, and I have taken a few courses in Early Childhood Education during my college years. I absolutely love working with kids, they tend to gravitate toward me wherever I go, and I appreciate their creativity and sense of adventure. It brings me joy to create fun learning environments for the kids, and I get to use the broad education I have in Geography (putting that master's degree to work finally, ha ha)! I wouldn't have it any other way.
