I have been an elementary teacher for over 25 years now retired. I have also taught pre-school, kindergarten, middle school and art and have been babysitting all ages this past year. I would love to be with the 3-6 age group as they are so eager to learn about everything but I enjoy all ages. I have been a camp counselor and taught swimming and sailing. I was a lifeguard and continue to swim regularly. I also do yoga. I was a foreign exchange student to France and speak French. I am presently taking Chinese at UH Manoa. We were in big island for a week and were looking for a sitter for one or two days. Ellen responded to our offer and we quickly setup an interview, all along she's been available and proactive to come to our place to get to know eachother. We left her with our son for 8+ hours and everything went really great. She arrived early with plenty of toys and drawing for the day. It was great to see her prepared like that. Our son was really happy at the end of the day. If we come back to big island we would definitely call her back. Damien
