Children, animals, family, sports and nature hold a great spot in my heart and life. I grew up living with my grand parents in poverty in the heart of Decatur Georgia. My grandparents became ill and my brother and I were sent into foster care at the age of 12. From the age of 12 until 18 I belonged to the state. These experiences has humble me into the lady I am today. I had a handful of great mentors and teachers to work with. They are positive human beings in which Im thankful for. At the age of 16 I was on the youth council committee fighting for child safety and equality. At the age of 17 I worked at the YMCA in Georgia. My career with children I began at 17.
