Aloha, My name is Felicia and I am currently twenty three years old. Five years ago, I started as a Lifeguard for the City and County of Honolulu, and I worked for a summer fun. My duties that were performed during summer fun hours consisted of monitoring over 300 children a day with seven other co-workers. These children had a age range from seven to twelve. The purpose of the summer fun was to involv these children in doing water activities including canoeing, sailing and kayaking. As for my specific job, I wouldn't just monitor these children, but I would have to actually take them out to do those different water activities while making sure that they were having fun but staying safe at the same time. Meanwhile doing this seasonal job, I did live in California for three years as a college student. In California, I worked as a Read more Day Care Teacher for six months, which included the same skills that I had performed with my other job, only they were indoor activities including different sports, movie days and art activities. After those six months were up, I eventually moved back here to Hawaii to finish my last year of college at Hawaii pacific University. I have still maintained to keep the job that I have during the summer, but for now while it is off season, I am just working at Kailua pool which consists of monitoring older folks as well. I recently was hired by two different families who were staying in the same beach house right in Lanikai area, and they wanted me to watch five of their kids while vacationing here on the island. It was only for an entire week, but every day I would play with the kids by walking them to the beach or play with them in their swimming pool. They seemed to really enjoy my company and I definitely enjoyed theirs as well. Overall, I am punctual, alert, and fun all at the same time! As of right now, I am a full time student studying so my schedule varies. I am willing to be a night sitter, weekend sitter, or after school sitter.
