My parents were in the Air Force and during an overseas assignment in Portugal, I was blessed to get a job with the Child Development Center. The position required a full military grade background check. I was trained to work in the infant, toddler and pre-school room. I completed trainings in Child Abuse Prevention, Food Safety and Handling, Security and Confidentiality, and CPR and First Aid. I also completed 3 modules in Child Development for ages 9months- 4years. In addition to my professional work history at the US Air Force Child Development Center, I am a big sister to 3 younger siblings and 36 cousins. I have had the opportunity to help care for my siblings and younger cousins as they grew up, as well as my cousins children. Anywhere from infants to pre-teens, 1 to 6 kids, house sitting, cleaning, cooking, dog walking, running errands, gardening, yard work and care at events such as concerts, weddings and skiing, I have done it all. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, Registered Yoga Instructor and Registered Kids Yoga Teacher I can offer kids yoga as a daily activity if you permit. Kids story yoga is a way for kids to actually embody their favorite characters in their favorite stories and kids books. Its a great tool for kids to express their emotions in a healthy way, to teach moral lessons about actual issues they may be dealing with that leads to more compassion, courage and confidence. It also has many wonderful physical benefits such as better sleep, digestion and focus not to mention strength, flexibility and coordination.
