I have had experience with children since my sister was born when I was in 6th grade. I helped take care of her and loved playing with her. My sister being born gave me a great interest in children and I then wanted to become a teacher. My junior year in high school I volunteered at the after school program and worked with kindergarten and first graders. I helped with homework and played with them. My senior year I conducted my senior project on child development theories. I shadowed a kindergarten class for half a semester. I helped with homework and helped the teacher with what she needed. Again, I volunteered working with the same teacher and a different kindergarten classes. I then studied to be a teacher in college. My freshman year in Washington I did a "Friends" program where we ate lunch every week with a child in Read more third grade. I grew a great friendship with my child. I am currently a junior in college studying psychology and communications. I have also held a job at Haili Christian working with a summer fryn program. I have a lot of experience with children. I can work with any age. I am also a licensed driver.
