I am a grandmother ( and great). I raised 6 children on my own. I am hard working, loving, compassionate. I have 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. I love children and elderly. My last job here on island just ended. I was a care giver to an elderly couple ages 95&88. Unfortunately they passed within 7 months of each other. My position with them lasted 25 months. I worked as a trained CNA in local hospital in 70's( late) worked with elderly and disabled children and young adults. My experience with children runs many years. I was a nanny to 3 children in my teen years (4 years. )Later became a mother of six . I was a boyscout/ girlscout leader in the 70's. I taught headstart in 2003-2005 became a advocate for children by working for my tribe in a Strengthening Families Program teacher, where I helped families connect Read more and learn parenting skills. In the summer I cooked and delivered a hot breakfast and lunches to needing children in various areas around my reservation. I became a TANF case worker from 2005-2012.Where I was involved with families on continual bases, became an advocate for protection / welfare of children. I love cooking, have cleaning and organizational skills, educational skills( 6 months short of BA in elementary teaching) was a 4.0 GPA. Had to quit college due to personal reasons.) I am creative, compassionate, truly care about people. I changed many diapes young and old. Reliable, on time. Follow instructions, maintain safe environment by following safe practices. I am very clean, love outdoor activities and creative play I have an insured and realible car.CPR training. I practice confidentiality.
