I am a kindergarten teacher that has taken a recent leave of absence for the upcoming school year to spend more time with my new son. I have over ten years combined experience from both the teaching field (5 years at OKCPS) and nannying. Early childhood education is my specialty but I am certified to teach elementary as well. I have nannied for twins, and children primarily birth- 6yo. I believe in learning through play and real world experiences. My schedule can be pretty flexible. Even more so if your child could come to my home for care. My husband is a local fireman, so my availability fluctuates based on his schedule (may explain in detail), unless your child could be in my home for care. We have zoo, science museum, and myriad garden passes and stay pretty active in the summertime. If I could give Leslie a million stars I would. She is extremely professional and comfortable in your home. She watched my four month old and 22 month old and when I came home the house was cleaner than when I left my son was relaxed and playing and my daughter was falling asleep in her arms. She does educational games, is aware of dietary needs and is very patient with high energy kiddos. I would highly recommend her and will be calling her again and again.
