I am a mother to four and a grandmother to five. ( grandchildren: 2 are 18 months, 1 is 3yrs old, 2 are 4yrs. 4 girls and 1 boy). I was a core treatment foster care parent for 11 yrs. from 1990 to 1999 and almost all of them still stay in contact with me. I am an LPN, have BS from ISU in family services, and 10 credits towards my Masters of Social Work. I am a kind and gentle woman with a loving and giving heart. I am reliable, honest, well mannered, and have decades of experience. I have a valid driver license, drive a 2014 Kia Soul, live in a beautiful townhouse in Altoona, and really enjoy live. I have travel almost all of the USA but never abroad. I was widowed in 2003 (husband had cancer from agent orange and I took care of him until Read more he passed). I am currently employed doing government contracted research. I have done this for 14 years and love it. I work part time with flexible hours. I also cook and clean like most mothers. While I am a very loving woman, I know it takes more than just love to be effective with children. I am very organized and structured and have a huge "chest" of discipline techniques.
