I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old. I have taken care of infants, toddlers, young children, and pre-teens. I have cared for multiple children in one household, so I am available if there is more than one child. I am employed at a daycare in Iowa City, IA during the school year, where I attend the University of Iowa for English. I work with children at the daycare between ages two and six. I also have experience with large groups of children. I was an assistant dance instructor for four years. I have taught children ages three through seventeen. I am very flexible when it comes to learning new things. If a parent wants me to learn a specific way of doing things with their child, I would be so excited to learn a new way of taking care of children. It is so rewarding to see a child's face light up while you read them a story they love! I also love to put on music and dance! Dancing was a huge part of my childhood and life growing up, so I love to share that with the children I am taking care of! I watched a ten year old girl who was also taking dance lessons, and she asked me for help. It was so special to be able to share that bond with her. I love working with children, especially as a childcare provider, because getting to know children individually is incredible, and they surprise you everyday. I would love to be a summer nanny for a loving family!
