My name is Rachael Rethman, I'm a freshman at Iowa State University studying Family Consumer Science Education with an endorsement in health. I started my adventure in childcare the summer before my freshman year of high school when I attended Camp Sacajawea as a Leader in Training for the following two summers I did the camps's counselor training programs which taught me child care skills that have come in handy later on in my experience. I also worked a summer at Camp Sacajawea in the kitchen. I was also a junior counselor at Living History Farms for two summers. My junior year of high school I worked as an after school nanny for a family with eight year old twins. Senior year and the following summer I worked at Kids West which is the daycare provided throughout the year by the West Des Moines school district. I am currently just Read more looking for jobs in babysitting so I can focus on school. I am CPR and first aid certified as well as a certified mandatory reporter.
