My name is Hannah Gruich and I am a recent high school graduate from southern Iowa. I just recently moved to Ames and I am looking for a job so that I can make money to go back to school soon. I love children of all ages and I have been working with them for years. I’ve done a lot of babysitting in the past for a lot of the families in my small town. I also spent every summer in high school volunteering at a local art camp for children k-8th grade. Last semester I had the privilege to receive a volunteer position through Graceland University to work at a local elementary school’s after school program. I think that working at the after school program was very beneficial to me in learning on how to interact with kids better and how to relate to them. I also had the Read more opportunity to run my own creativity classroom for the kids to make crafts and learn while doing so. I was required to do a lot of planning for these lessons and I did them with children kindergarten through 5th grade. I was also able to build a lot of strong relationships with these kids and I am so grateful for the time I spent there. I am available every day M-F and weekends if they are needed! I am hoping for a full time position, but I can always be flexible. Thank you so much for your consideration!
