I was born and raised in Iowa City, Iowa. Growing up I babysat many kids around my hometown, so getting along with children comes natural to me. As I got older I began coaching gymnastics at the age of 16 and quickly moved to working as a camp director. While working as a camp director I planned activities for the children such as games, crafts, snacks and exercise. When I moved to Cedar Falls to attend college as UNI I continued my career as a gymnastics coach as well as began coaching volleyball. I currently work at Blackhawk Gymnastics coaching girls ages 3 to 12, and have recently taken on a new position as head coach as we have developed a new program called Xcel. I also coach for Smash Volleyball Club as the 15u head coach. I previously was employed as a full-time summer nanny for 3 wonderful children. I am currently a junior as UNI studying prelaw and criminology. I intend to continue my education in the future by attending law school.
