Hey there! My name is Kirsten Baker. I just recently moved to the Cedar Rapids area. I lived here over the summer working at the Stoney Point YMCA, which I also do now. Looking for a family that could use a loving nanny or babysitter. Children have always been a joy of mine my entire life. When I got to the age I could babysit, that's what I loved to do. As I went into high school, I decided I wanted to become an education major in the Early Childhood Education field. During my last two years of high school I took college courses which led me to get my CDA (Child Development Assistant) license. While working on my major in college, I also worked in a public school as a Paraprofessional teaching high-functioning 5th & 6th grade special needed students. I have a car to transport myself or the children throughout the day wherever we need to go or their little hearts desire!
