My experience with babysitting and child care started when I was very young. Both my Grandmother and Mother worked in childcare, my Grandma was a cook and my mother was a teacher. After having kids, my mother worked 3rd shift so I was in charge of taking care of my siblings. I continued to babysit for them and other children in the various neighborhoods we lived in throughout high school. After graduating, I worked in a child care center, my classroom was two year olds. While going to college I still remained an avid babysitter. I have worked in a few different daycare establishments as a lead teacher and an assistant, mostly with infants-three and four year olds. Most recently I have been nannying a child but it has now become more of an on call basis. I am trained in CPR and First aid.
