• I’ve been a care provider in many settings. Initially I took care of my two cousins when I was 13-14 years old. They were 6 and 8 when I provided weekly in home care. This job included household cleaning such as laundry, dishes, etc. I also have a large extended family with lots of children age ranges from infinant-8 years old. I have provided care taking services for them including one situation where the parents were out of the country and I provided in home care to their children for 7 days, children ages 1 and 3 years, both female. • I have also worked for three different companies that provided services to persons with disabilities. This job included household cleaning, transporting to appointments and activities, meal preparation, and more. I served clients from ages 7-55 years old. I found my favorite times were assisting children with maintaining a Read more normal home life. I have 7 years of collective experience in that field. • I also worked at an elementary school as a Sign Language Interpreter, which included academic support and behavioral coaching consistently. This job would assist me with knowing the current curriculum of schools in Iowa, which would allow me to assist with homework, projects, etc. • In addition to my degree from the University of Iowa I am a permanently licensed sign language interpreter in the state of Iowa. I am fluent in ASL. Due to a shortage of work I an in search of a part time position. • I am a patient, loving, caring, young individual who would do my absolute best to fit the specific needs of each child I would provide care to. I believe in the importance of education as well as involvement with the outdoors and activities outside of screen time. I am creative and like to do many hands on projects in my free time. I have a heart for caring-taking positions.
