First let me start off with a little bit about me, im 19 years young, i will be attending iowa central community college at the end of august and im studying early childhood education. I moved from madison wi two weeks ago and i plan on staying here til i finish in school. I was raised with 4 siblings, 1 older brother an older sister than me and my younger sister. 3 girls and 1 boy my dad has his hands full, we lived in a small apartment building where everybody knew everybody, everybody played with everybody. But my dad was the manager so it make us a little more special. I think that is it about me for now, but now about my babysitting career i have baby sat my dads bosses kids, neighbor kids ages 3 months to 14 years of age. At the age of 17 i Read more decided to move out of my fathers house and move in with my boyfriends family. There i watched kids from newborns to 11 years of age, it was a big family and i was there to help and did not mind at times when i was needed. If and when i was needed it wasnt that hard, one night it could be just to listen for the newborn while his mom ran to the store from her going on a date and i would cook dinner, make sure they all got in the tub and then to bed. Also living with her i had the opportunity in shadowing her at her work place (she worked as a day care provider) and i got to interact with all the kids and do everything they did. That was probably one of the things that made me want to study early childhood education even more because i seen how fun it was. I also worked with MSCR back in madison wi, its a after school club for elementary and middle schoolers.
