Hi! I am Liz. I am a licensed teacher and have been substituting in the Iowa City School District for the past 2 years. I am looking to continue working with kids over the summer. I have a lot of experience working with children in a variety of settings. In addition to teaching I have worked as a Mother's Helper for a family with 4 kids (I spent most of my time with the 2 youngest), I continue to babysit occasionally for this family, I worked at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics as an assistant teacher with 2-5 year olds, and I have also babysat for my friends. I my free time I love to read, garden, and hike with my goldendoodle Appa. I love to spend time with my friends and family. I also enjoy cooking and baking.
